Little Man Benj

The Sweet Pea is my little man. His newest trend is that he loves to change clothes. He is so proud that he can now dress himself. Sometimes the pants go on backwards, but still--they are on! I have to say, he does a pretty good job at coordination. But then again, what shirt doesn't go with jeans or khaki's. He loves to change his clothing and feels the need to do so if he gets ANYTHING on his clothes; including a spot of water, a little food, etc. He has even got to the point where he enjoys purposely getting something on his clothes in order to change. He loves to announce to me that his shirt is DIRTY so he has to change. He is such a little character; he totally cracks me up! Besides having to do a ton of laundry due to all the "dirty" clothes; I really enjoy everything about this little man.

Lil' Gangsta

It's so frightening how quickly parents lose all fashion control. Brandon is really into the hat thing right now; and also into the camo thing. He has yet to understand that a camo shirt and pants is a bit much. He may have inherited his father's great love of the military! In the last couple pics, he is doing a little dance and Ethan decided to join in. Shall we call it the Camo Dance? Yes, it is a little frightening, but very cute. Brandon, just like his Dad, is such a sweet little boy and I am just in love with this little angelkins!

Ethan's Magical Smile!

Ethan has the best smile; so wide and his eyes seem to chuckle! I just love it and had to share!

The Reality of our Life!

I try to take cute pics of the kids and present a controlled view of our children in relatively clean moments! Attempting to demonstrate that I have some control of the situation; however, I did take some pics of our everyday reality; half-dressed, chaos, and craziness! So, here is the real insider view. You better enjoy as I may get my senses back and have to delete this posting! I happen to love swedish fish and at times, I also, would be willing to get down on the floor and "go fish" with my tongue to the ground trying to get a sweet taste or two. For whatever reason, my children, Ethan and Benjamin decided to try out this new technique; after dumping out swedish fish; go fish with your tongue. I know---it looks so tempting. Then there is the fun shot of Brandon talking to his Dad on my cell phone; on a skate board; a diaper clad Benjamin trying to pull the skateboard away! Total chaos! Welcome to our household!

Fat and Happy!

Little Dylan is just growing up! Now he is 3 and a half months old and just so darling. He is almost turning over; moving around; so full of life. His giggle is to die for and he is a little sweetie. And boy, he is getting soooo fat and he is so happy! Like mother; like son! He is really starting to show some personality. He is also starting to differentiate a bit from his brother Benjamin. Still lots of similarities; but Brandon and I both agree he is starting to take on his own look! It is amazing to watch a child grow and change! It all happens so quickly! We will enjoy him in every bit of this infant stage; which he is trying to move on from way to quickly!

I say a little prayer for you!

Little Maddie is such a little doll; I just love her! You just can't resist her precious smile and her sweet loveliness! Everyone needs a little girl--I have decided! Look at those expressive eyes. She was feeling a little sick in the facial closeup shot. You can probably see that. She can be so pitiful when she is sick. Would you not do just anything those big, expressive eyes asked of you? We clearly all do! Every day! Such a spoiled little thing. Being the only girl is definately a plus for her.

Blizzard in the Land!

It has been snowing like madness here; and it is starting to drive me crazy. I love a good snow; I enjoy the blanket of white that can occur on occasion; but this week it has snowed nearly every day; and not just snow; full-on blizzard conditions! March is here; hopefully Spring weather can begin! We are definately getting some cabin fever around here; the children can only go out to play in the snow for so long before getting cold! Hurry Spring; we are ready and waiting!

My Little Monsters

Aren't they cute little monsters? I sure think so!!!

Teachers Make A Difference!

WOW!!! Little Brandon had to change teachers mid-year; due to the huge amount of children in the class; 32 students. I was worried about his "worksheet" schooling; as he used to come home with 5 or more worksheets a day; it seemed as though there was not a lot of teaching. He also didn't seem to be making many strides in his reading ability; which is of great concern since he is in the first grade. We were a little concerned that changing teachers mid year could be a trauma for him----but he agreed to the change in teachers and now has 21 students in his class---and his reading has taken off. He has had his new teacher since around the New Year. Just in the last couple weeks we have noticed such a change in his reading excitement. It just is so exciting to see him reading signs and books with greater ease!!! I am so proud of him and happy to see him really excelling with his schoolwork!! I appreciate all the great work of his new teacher!
