So, we returned from a very warm Texas (70 degrees) to a blizzardous Utah! I guess it was such a blizzard here, that they actually cancelled church; which never happens here in Utah; so you know it was bad. Here is a picture of the grand amounts of snow in our front yard tonight as we returned home from our trip!!!

The Surprise!

I have to say, it was so much fun to get on a flight to Texas with my husband and baby Dylan, and surprise my mother-in-law for her birthday. The look on her face when we came into the restaurant was priceless! She was in shock!!! Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of that moment, but here are some pictures from the restaurant on Thursday night upon arriving!

We had SUCH a fabulous time on the Wii with Mom & Dad! Almost every night we would play bowling into some of the morning hours! SOOOO much fun! You gotta' love the Wii! I must say it is a bit addictive!

A Toddism

Brandon's brother Todd is so funny; he is great fun to be around!!! I miss living near him as I miss his sense of humor and hearing his "Toddisms".

Here is one Toddism from this weekend:

"Political Interruptus: When a politician "pulls-out" of a race too soon."

Hopefully Hillary will pull a "political interruptus" but I don't think we will get off that easy!

UPDATE: How sad is it that Mitt Romney pulled a "political Interruptus!"

Guitar Heroes!

Well, clearly we are not the only ones addicted to the Wii! Brandon's family is also all addicted. I have to say, Brandon's sister, Krista is a big fan of Guitar Hero. You should see her rocking out! I am sure her ward would love to see "the Bishop's wife" rocking out! She has gotten quite good at this game!!!! Todd is also quite the guitar hero!

The Cousins!

It was so fun to come to Texas! It has been a long time since we have seen our neices and nephews! They are so cute, and it was great spending time with them again. Our kids are so excited to come and play with their cousins this summer. I know little Brandon was SOOOOOOO bummed not to get to join us in our trip to Texas this time!!! Here are my sweet neices and nephews; try not to cry at how cute they are!!!
