Fat and Happy!

Little Dylan is just growing up! Now he is 3 and a half months old and just so darling. He is almost turning over; moving around; so full of life. His giggle is to die for and he is a little sweetie. And boy, he is getting soooo fat and he is so happy! Like mother; like son! He is really starting to show some personality. He is also starting to differentiate a bit from his brother Benjamin. Still lots of similarities; but Brandon and I both agree he is starting to take on his own look! It is amazing to watch a child grow and change! It all happens so quickly! We will enjoy him in every bit of this infant stage; which he is trying to move on from way to quickly!

I say a little prayer for you!

Little Maddie is such a little doll; I just love her! You just can't resist her precious smile and her sweet loveliness! Everyone needs a little girl--I have decided! Look at those expressive eyes. She was feeling a little sick in the facial closeup shot. You can probably see that. She can be so pitiful when she is sick. Would you not do just anything those big, expressive eyes asked of you? We clearly all do! Every day! Such a spoiled little thing. Being the only girl is definately a plus for her.

Blizzard in the Land!

It has been snowing like madness here; and it is starting to drive me crazy. I love a good snow; I enjoy the blanket of white that can occur on occasion; but this week it has snowed nearly every day; and not just snow; full-on blizzard conditions! March is here; hopefully Spring weather can begin! We are definately getting some cabin fever around here; the children can only go out to play in the snow for so long before getting cold! Hurry Spring; we are ready and waiting!

My Little Monsters

Aren't they cute little monsters? I sure think so!!!

Teachers Make A Difference!

WOW!!! Little Brandon had to change teachers mid-year; due to the huge amount of children in the class; 32 students. I was worried about his "worksheet" schooling; as he used to come home with 5 or more worksheets a day; it seemed as though there was not a lot of teaching. He also didn't seem to be making many strides in his reading ability; which is of great concern since he is in the first grade. We were a little concerned that changing teachers mid year could be a trauma for him----but he agreed to the change in teachers and now has 21 students in his class---and his reading has taken off. He has had his new teacher since around the New Year. Just in the last couple weeks we have noticed such a change in his reading excitement. It just is so exciting to see him reading signs and books with greater ease!!! I am so proud of him and happy to see him really excelling with his schoolwork!! I appreciate all the great work of his new teacher!

Going to the Paris; detour at the Bellagio!

Micah saves the day!

We had to laugh so hard when; on our way out one night; her SUV ran out of gas! OOPS! We found out the hard way that a vehicle is often not joking when on the E! Luckily, her husband Micah came to the rescue!

The Longest Legs Ever

My friend Shauna has always had the best body ever! She played volleyball at BYU and still has that awesome fit body! I loved this pic of her. Doesn't she look like she has the longest legs in the whole world? Maybe in my next life I will have her body!!! She happens to be holding her youngest of three; Dalton!

Weekend in Vegas

Yes, I have the husband of the year!!! He was kind enough to let me go visit Shauna for a weekend; leaving him with the five kids!!! Brandon is a great man. Shauna has come to visit me and help me numerous times in my moments of need; and it was definately long overdue that I return that favor! The main purpose of the trip was to help in sorting/cleaning her office! I am happy to say; it was almost accomplished. I left her with some remaining tasks; but we got sooo much accomplished! We had a great time---we are like sisters; so we had a great time chatting it up! I just love Miss Sha-Sha! Some of our adventures included running out of gas and eating at the buffet at the Paris. Anyone who goes to Vegas needs to go to that buffet. There is nothing like it!!! Here are some pics of us in Vegas!

It's all about the boots!

My little sweet Benjamin just loves shoes and already has a shoe fetish. Like mother, like son! It is critical for this little boy to put shoes on every day; first thing. His latest fave--is the bright yellow boots. No matter what he is wearing, he must have on the boots. He even took a nap with them on today. Anyway, little children and their whims. I definately have to choose my battles; and the boots are not one of the battles I am going to engage in. So, for the time being, we get to enjoy some bright yellow on a daily basis. I definately didn't want you to miss out on this funny stage!
