SeaWorld

I just love watching the polar bears at SeaWorld. They are so beautiful. And watching them play with and throw the bones in the air was amazing. (Look below at some of the pictures). And Maddie loved chasing the birds. We don't need to pay an entrance fee for her, just take her outside anywhere and let her chase pigeons and she will be pleased.

I always love SeaWorld, I could watch the animals all day. I was loving watching those polar bears, until Maddie interrupted my moment with "I have to pee." Many great Mommy moments have been destroyed by that line. Anyway, we did notice that the whales don't seem to have as many great tricks as they used to. They are focusing more on the relationship between the trainers and the whales (BORING, I mean is that really what we are paying for? Unless I can have a relationship with one of the whales, I don't really care. They needed more of a buildup to get us to feel more excited about the relationship---sorta' like in the bad Lifetime movies---and then maybe it would've been more thrilling.) Probably some animal rights crap or something. But I still loved it. I think it was a nice in-between break for Disneyland.

Another funny moment, you pay to feed the seals. And boy are they fiesty. And so are the seagulls. The kids LOVED feeding the seals. Although, little Brandon was a bit terrified when a not-so-shy seagull grabbed the fish out of his hand.

Street Dancing at Disneyland

They had fabulous musical groups playing on the streets of Downtown Disney. Our kids had a great time dancing to the music. It was fun and heartwarming. There is nothing like the joy of children---expressed through music and dance! So cute!

Goofy's Kitchen!

On a friend's suggestion, we booked dinner at Goofy's Kitchen for our first night at Disneyland. FABULOUS! Disney is great at marketing, and there are less and less characters to be seen at the park. So, they have these character meals where the characters come around as you eat--but of course, it costs a little money. Anyway, Goofy's Kitchen was GREAT. It's a buffet, the food is great, and the characters were so great with the kids. Belle from Beauty and the Beast took a special liking to Maddie and danced with her and spent lots of time with her. Maddie and Dylan were in love. SO CUTE! Also, at Goofy's Kitchen, they get the pans out and let the kids make a racket for a short time, which the kids love. We will be making Goofy's Kitchen a family tradition! (Much better than Ariel's Grotto---the Princess meal, in my opinion....) We also celebrated little Brandon's birthday a little early. He loved it!!! Highly suggested!!!
