Deep Thoughts

Or maybe this should be 'Cause I know you were wondering......

Anyway, I have decided that it is impossible to eat watermelon and be melancholy at the same time. The very nature and being of watermelon is happiness, sunshine, summer, bliss. As you eat a watermelon, it is impossible not to take that essence inside yourself, and not have it's essence impact you.

So, that is my challenge to you. Try eating watermelon if you are feeling sad. I dare say, you will feel happier after eating watermelon. Or, if you are wanting to feel sad, than you might not allow yourself to partake in the joy of watermelon.

'Cause I know you were wondering.

Cause I know you were wondering.......

This is a new segment----which could be retitled: "avoid this entry if you don't want to be grossed out or appalled". I'm talking to you Zina, especially if you are pregnant! (Just kidding, sorta')

Anyway,
I was absolutely thrilled this morning. I give Dylan his morning bath. We go downstairs to finish getting ready. He decides to stop in the bathroom. He comes out proudly proclaiming, "I went poop. I went poop."

Maddie (3) is beside herself thrilled (being the little Mommy that she is). I am beside myself thrilled.

I mean, are you understanding what this could mean? The ramifications of this move/movement on Dylan's part? Bowel to be exact?

This may mean that for the first time, in 9 years, we could be CLOSE to diaper free during the day. This could mean tears, a celebration, a party, a shopping spree-----so many options! Anyway, for now, it just means joy in my heart, at seeing the beginning of the end of the light of the very dark brown and yellow tunnel of poop and pee. That will be a good day. A day for a celebration!

I couldn't be more thrilled.

(I cannot be responsible for my thoughts or actions any day when I wake up in the 4's and am up in the 5's.)
