First Day of Preschool

Excited about preschool!

Whatcha talkin' about Willis?

Mom, hello, the sun is in our eyes!!!
Oh my goodness---my babies are growing up so quickly. Maddie (3) and Benjamin (4)started preschool today. One of the benefits of them being close in age; they can go to preschool at the same time. So convenient, so fabulous. I could get used to this.

It has been so long since I have been able to take only one child to a store. I forgot what it was like during daytime hours. I actually considered getting little Dylan a treat at the end. I mean one treat is not a big deal right? Or one happy meal, right? So, hey, I see how the last kid gets spoiled. When considering 3 vs. 1 child getting said reward, the options are definitely higher for getting something for one child vs. a slew of children.

Anyway, my heart did have a moment when they first left. I mean, my babies are growing up. Benjamin will be in kindergarten next year, then Maddie the next year, and then Dylan the next year. Then no babies. Then what? Although, who am I kidding, I am sure I will find TONS to accomplish during that free time, and I have three years to figure that one out.

I have to admit, it was a bit of a chore to get all five kids and myself dressed, ready, and fed before 9am. But hey, I was motivated to go buy that needed milk (among other things) during my first 2 1/2 hour break.

I love milestones. I am grateful to be here at this moments of my kids life and to see them growing and learning.

My children are the greatest blessing, besides my man. Family is beautiful, and family can be forever. Such a blessing. I love the plan. There were two, so I am referring to God's plan, just in case there was a doubt. And don't ask how I got to this topic from the first day of preschool. I have no idea.
