Maddie had her first day of ballet/tap class today. SOOOOO cute. That's one thing I love about this area. Great deals on classes. $30/month for one hour of ballet/tap per week. At first Maddie didn't want to leave me and join the group. As she saw how much fun they were all having, she decided to join in. Dylan and Benjamin hung out with me as we watched Maddie dancing. I felt a little bad for Benjamin, many of the activities were very fun for any toddler; jumping, hopping, etc. But he stayed with me, and seemed OK with Maddie doing the dancing. There was one boy in the class, and Benjamin told me he was wearing girls shoes, so I don't think he wanted to join in. He really had problems when the boy put on the tap shoes. It is sorta' funny when your child starts saying things and you don't know how to explain it to them, that it is just fine for this boy to put on tap shoes. Anyway------maybe we ought to take him to see Billy Elliott.
Hesitant and shy at first

Should I try it?

Getting used to instruction (Maybe this will help with obedience at home.)

Aren't they all so precious? My Maddie is on the far right.

Circle fun

Starting the tap thing. You couldn't hardly hear the instructor because many of the girls were just pounding their feet as hard as they could for fun.

Precious moments.
