While we were away fishing, a little critter decided to look for some food around camp.

Dog Behind the Wheel

So, our whole family pulls into the parking space, and right in front of us, is this image. I had to do a double take. Some animals seem so human, and if I didn't look twice, I might have thought it was a person behind the wheel. This dog made me smile. Luckily, (I know you are so shocked) I had my camera with me. Love that camera. I love it so much I should have named it by now.

On a random side note, my camera is a Canon Powershot S5IS. I would definately recommend it, it has lasted through thousands of pictures and since last Christmas (which prior to this I have been going through 2 cameras a year). This camera has fallen on the ground, kids have kicked it (can't imagine why), and it usually stays in my purse (which is a TOTAL danger zone). I bought this camera for the zoom lens which can go up to 12 megapixels, and the camera takes 8 megapixel pictures. If you are looking for a good Christmas gift, I guess they have a new one out-----we checked out Consumer Reports last year and it was the best rated camera in it's category! It has proven to be DREAMY. Thank you camera for all the fun you have given me. This year I will try to get a life that is not behind a lens. Well, maybe. No promises.

When I write random blog entries like this, I imagine what my grade on an essay like this would be in an English class. Not good. So glad this is not being graded, so glad I can be random. The joys of blogging.

Hold Your Horses!

As we were driving out of town on our trip we passed this. I really couldn't believe what I was seeing. So, of course we had to turn around to take some pictures.

My only question: Can you go through the drive-thru on a horse?

Maybe the horses saw the sign and wanted some caramel apples. Or---perhaps a new marketing campaign for Kneaders???
