Kid Combinations

I love my babies. They all have such distinct personalities. Beautiful, loveable, precious, tender-----sweet children. I love my babies.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Dylan is such a little cutie! He insisted on putting on this bumblebee costume. He then enjoyed chasing all the kids around the house saying, "Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz". I love little kids, I love the dress ups. There is nothing like the sponataneous joy of children.

My kids new favorite show

Little Dylan (2 1/2) came up to me tonight and said, "Mommy, I wanna watch Wipeout." My kids could watch it for hours. It is great incentive to do chores---works like a charm. It's great that all my kids love it. From ages 2-9. Score. I need to just tape them all to have them on hand for our break in July. (Year-round school!)

Glitter Boy

Little Dylan (2 1/2) found some of the glitter I was using yesterday for Maddie's ballet performance. Dylan puts the glitter on his head and says, "I'm beautiful". He can also do an amazing ballet twirl and will say as he does it, "I'm a ballerina".
He will love me for putting this on the blog---someday.

Mother's Day Cards

Little Brandon's card was so cute. It was folded up over and over again, and then taped into several other pieces of paper. He was so excited to give it to me. You just can't pay for that type of thing. Such a sweetheart! Then, thanks to Walmart craft moment, I got these other cards from Dylan (2), Maddie (3) and Brandon (8). I loved their little hand prints. So cute. Benjamin's got lost somewhere in the mix, and Ethan was at a birthday party at the time they were made. Fun times.

Heartwarming

This last week I had the chance to talk with Benj, Maddie, and Dylan's birthmom Jennie. Jennie said she had some Easter baskets for the kids and would love to give them to the kids. So, today, before going to my parents, we stopped in to spend some time with Jennie. It was so special, it really touched my heart. This woman has given us such an amazing blessing; these three beautiful babies. I am getting teary eyed just thinking about it now. What would I do if I hadn't met Jennie? What an incredible gift she has given me. How can you ever give someone the proper thanks for the gift of children.

To see the children with her was so heartwarming. I could tell it meant so much to Jennie, and it is great for the kids to spend some time with their birthmom. What precious moments. I have some incredible pictures, but will only share a couple---but what incredible memories for all involved. I don't know how to describe our relationship; but truly, it is a special gift from God. It was great to bring her an Easter basket filled with candy, pictures, and a C.D. of T.I. (music she wanted). She gave each child an Easter basket full of candy, and books, and stuffed animals. They even went outside and played a little soccer. SO CUTE. Looking at the pictures makes me a little emotional. Sweet moments of life.

Snow Day

Last weekend we had 60 degree weather, today it is snowing. You never know exactly what the weather will be like in March. We sure enjoyed what may be the last of the snow this year. I love the snow.

ALWAYS at church. We don't usually last all that long in the main church meeting.
Hmmm. Let's diagnose the problem. I am trying to figure out our main problem. Could it be.......

Maybe it's Maddie (3) and Dylan (2). Not to mention the 4, 6, and 8 year old.

As you can see, we usually end up banished in outer darkness. (a classroom!) Good thing I am a believer! And actually, I am so grateful. Three hours at church teaches our children so much every week. My children have the best teachers. Their teachers have incredible patience and energy; as you can imagine. (I know, I am also a bit frightened that I brought the camera to church today. Shhhhh, with a huge bag, noone needs to know.)
